MEETING MINUTES
March 3, 2010

Members Present: Al Berg, Paul Challenger, Jim Dunn, Peter Lacy, Rick Bates, Glenn Gaudette, Don Mancini, Bob Lavigne, Marilynn Foley
Also Present: Nancy Galkowski, Town Manager, Jacquie Kelly, Assistant Town Manager, Jack Chandler, Fire Chief, George Sherrill, Police Chief
The meeting was called to order at 7:00.
At 7:05, Peter recused himself during the Fire Department Budget discussion. Peter is an on call volunteer fireman.
Nancy informed the Committee of corrections in the Fire Budget: capital outlay request, EMS receipts, mileage reimbursement and fire depreciation account.
Fire Chief Chandler answered questions concerning the Fire Dept. Budget, the EMS Budget and the Emergency Preparedness Budget.
The Committee also discussed the new Public Safety Building and its projected opening in October.
Peter returned to the meeting at 8:50.
Police Chief Sherrill passed out a packet of information to the Committee concerning the Police Dept. He answered questions about the Police Budget, Animal Control budget and Sealer of Weights and Measurers Budget.
The Committee discussed the Finance Committee Policies that were adopted in October 2005 concerning member conduct in running for an elective officer.
The meeting adjourned at 9:55.
